Hate Posters Discovered In Horsham

Hate posters have been discovered in Barns Green in Horsham.  

The posters with political figures on them are believed to have been put up in Chapel Road between 9.45 pm and 11.30 pm on Monday 19th November.  

Sussex Police have said that they are taking the matter very seriously and will increase high visibility patrols in the area.

Closure Order For Property In Redhill

Anti-social behaviour has forced the closure of a property in Redhill.

Residents approached Surrey Police with compelling evidence of verbal abuse, intimidation, loud gatherings in the street and fights involving the use of knives and other weapons related to the property in Ladbroke Road.

Magistrates granted a complete closure order at the first hearing, which will remain in place until February next year.

Dog Stabbed In Crawley

A dog has been stabbed to death in Crawley.

The dog and his owner had been involved in a fight in an alleyway near the leisure park at around 6.30 on Saturday afternoon.

The owner, a 40 year-old man, received a minor cut to his neck.  His dog received serious stab wounds and died as a result of its injuries.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area to get in touch with them.

Christmas Lights in Redhill

Festivities got underway at the weekend as the Belfrey Centre in Redhill switched on its’ Christmas lights.

Appeals to trace Dorking Robbery Suspect

Police have reissued appeals to trace a man wanted in connection with robberies in East Surrey.

35 year-old Joseph Barnes is from Dorking.  He is described as white, medium build, approximately 5ft 10 inches tall with multiple tattoos of writing on his arms and the right side of his neck.

Investigations continue into the robberies which occurred in  Dorking, Redhill and Epsom earlier this month.
