Football Update

It was a disappointing afternoon for Redhill FC on Saturday when the Lobsters met AC London in the RPM Records Division One Cup Final.  The final took place at Bedfont and Feltham’s ground.  It was 2-2 at full time but AC London made it 3-2, after scoring the winning goal in extra time.

New Lottery for Tandridge

Tandridge District Council’s Resources Committee has agreed to setting up a lottery.

This will create a sustainable source of funding for local voluntary and community groups and could reduce pressure on the Council’s grants budget.  The lottery would operate online with tickets costing £1.  There would be a weekly draw and a top prize of £25,000.

Local charities and groups could apply to join the lottery and would keep 50% of the ticket price of any tickets bought through them, with the rest going to prizes, costs and into the grants fund.
