New dog control powers being trialled in Surrey

New dog control powers are to be trialled in Surrey.

It aims to tackle dog fouling and control issues in Master Park in Oxted and Queens Park in Caterham, and will be rolled out across the district if successful.

It’ll make failing to clean up after a dog an offence and bans them from fenced children’s play areas.  Both will carry a fine of £100 along with the possibility of being banned from the parks.
