Redhill Corps Of Drums To Leave Its Base Of 37 Years

The Redhill Corps of Drums has been asked to vacate the hall where it has met regularly for band rehearsals for 37 years.

The band will leave the youth hall located behind the old cinema adjacent to the railway at the beginning of April; the land where it’s situated has been sold for a housing development.  The Redhill Corps of Drums represents Reigate and Banstead at many festivities including visits to the twin town of Eschweiler in Germany.

The band, affiliated to the Royal British Legion will move to the St John Ambulance Hall at the Kingsfield Business Centre in Philanthropic Road.
