Man From Oxted Charged Following A Dispersal Order Last Friday

A man has been charged after police officers requested a dispersal order in Oxted last Friday.  

They had received reports of possible fights breaking out in the town. The dispersal order was authorised for 48 hours covering the area of the town centre, including Oxted School, the railway station, Master Park, and playing fields near to Mill Lane in Hurst Green. 19-year old Jack Tickner from Oxted was charged with six counts of possession of an offensive weapon, and one count for possession of cannabis.  

He has been released on bail and will appear before Guildford Crown Court on 15th June. Tickner is not allowed to be in Master Park or Bluehouse Lane during this time.
