Gatwick Airport experienced over 80 per cent less crime than Stansted between 2015 and May this year.

The figures comes as Police say crime in and around airports across England and Wales has doubled over the past 3 years.

Passengers travelling with banned items like CS sprays, knives and air rifles are partly to blame for the spike along with an increase in vehicle crime.
