ATM Taken From Barclays In Banstead

An ATM cash machine was removed from Barclays Bank in Banstead in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The ATM was removed using a digger which police believe was stolen from a nearby building site. There is extensive damage to the building and to the ATM which was abandoned on a nearby roundabout.  CCTV shows two individuals sat on a bench close by. Police believe they could help with information on the other vehicles used by the thieves; a convertible BMW and a Land Rover Defender.

Anyone who saw these vehicles travelling to or from Banstead early on Sunday morning should contact Surrey Police on 101.
