Affordable Housing Boost For Tandridge District and East Grinstead Areas

Tandridge District Council’s Housing Committee has announced plans for over a hundred more affordable homes for local residents on the Council Housing Register.

The Committee which met last week, agreed to seek grant funding from Homes England to help fund the Council’s new homes programme. The homes within the programme include developments at Warlingham, Hurst Green, and Caterham with further sites yet to be identified.

Meanwhile Mid Sussex District Council has approved the sale of land at Blackwell Farm Road in East Grinstead for 10 new homes for local people in housing need.

The Council’s cabinet agreed to sell the land to the Guinness Partnership subject to being granted planning permission. The Guinness Partnership works in local authority areas across England to provide homes for rent at lower prices.
