Urgent Government Help Requested For Crawley’s Economy

The Leader of Crawley Borough Council and the town’s MP have asked the Government for urgent help to rescue the town’s economy. 

This comes after the recent Centre for Cities report which forecasts that Crawley will be the most affected economy by the coronavirus crisis.  The report predicts that more than 50% of jobs are at risk of being lost or furloughed with aviation being one of the main business sectors in the town affected.

Speaking on Susy Radio, Henry Smith MP, explained to Neil Munday why they’ve called for the government to fund a programme of targeted economic relief and investment in the town:
