Surrey residents have been thanked for their patience after 10 community recycling centres reopened this week. 

Mike Goodman, Surrey County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Waste, thanked residents for their patience when they’ve had to queue. 

The smallest community recycling centres in Caterham, Warlingham and Dorking remain closed due to difficulty in ensuring social distancing between visitors and staff.
