British Airways Ground Staff At Gatwick Face Redundancy

British Airways ground staff at Gatwick face redundancy as the airline cuts costs in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

There are plans for Gatwick Airport staff to be outsourced to another company.  Gatwick Ground Services says 412 BA employees will be transferred by 15th July but proposes the loss of almost 700 jobs in total.

The proposals put forward by BA are with a view to consultation.
