How to be a Snow Angel

As winter beckons and the weather is turning colder, volunteers are being called upon to help others salt pavements and clear the snow as we head towards winter.

The ‘Snow Angels’ as they’re called is an initiative between Tandridge District and Surrey County Councils – and is being run in partnership with businesses and local Parish groups.

Key locations such as shopping areas, doctor’s surgeries and schools are the focus of where volunteers are required. All the equipment is supplied by the council.

If you can spare a few hours to help your local community, please e-mail customerservices@tandridge.gov.uk or call 01883 722000 to find out more.
