JetBlue to start Gatwick transatlantic service

JetBlue has announced it will make its entrance into the transatlantic market with nonstop service between New York’s JFK Airport and London Gatwick Airport.

Flights are expected to start September this year and will provide low cost, transatlantic service.

Chief executive officer for Gatwick Airport, Stewart Wingate said “ It is a welcome addition to the choice of airlines and destinations which Gatwick currently has.”

Routes to and from Boston are hoped to be added next year.
