A new mobile wellbeing lounge called ‘WingBee’ has been unveiled at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

WingBee joins a second bus, WellBee, to provide a relaxed wellbeing space for NHS Staff with a Tea and Empathy service.

The buses are crewed by current or ex aviation workers who volunteer their time to help.  They are run by the team from Project Wingman which was founded at the start of the pandemic to run ‘first class style’ mobile airport lounges in hospitals.

As well as its two buses, Project Wingman has successfully launched and operated lounges in over 80 NHS hospitals across the UK.
