SASH Community Midwife Wins Prestigious Award

A community midwife from Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, has been named as Midwives’ Midwife of the Year for England. 

Tania Pearce received the prestigious national award at the Royal College of Midwives Annual Midwifery Awards. 

The award is chosen by the President of the RCM, Rebeccah Davies, following nominations from midwives’ peers up and down the country. 

Tania is described by her colleagues as someone who works with women and families to ensure they receive the best experience during their pregnancy journey. 

Tania said she was thrilled to win and paid tribute to the community team at Horsham and the whole midwifery team at SASH.
