Two people have been hurt after a car collision in Rusper last Wednesday.

The incident involving a white 4×4 and a red hatchback took place at about 7.25pm on Newdigate Road.

A 29-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Sussex Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A 49-year-old man was taken to East Surrey with minor injuries and has since been discharged.

 Any witnesses are urged to contact Sussex Police.
