Buchan Country Park wins Green Flag 12th year in a row

Buchan Country Park in Crawley has been awarded the Green Flag Award for the twelfth year in a row.

The award is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.

Deborah Urquhart, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change, said: “Winning the Green Flag Award 12 years in a row is a real testament to the time and effort that is put in by our Countryside Services Team and the volunteers who support the park.

“Buchan Country Park is a beautiful space which gives people across Crawley and the surrounding areas a quality place to have a picnic, ride a bike, play or just get out in the fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet that only these kinds of spaces can give.”
