A number of cars collided at Reigate Hill on Saturday due to loss of traction on the road following a diesel spillage.  There were no reports of serious injuries. 

Both exit slip roads of the M25 had to be closed in both directions at junction 8 for Reigate.  The motorway sliproads ropened on Saturday evening but road closures remained in place around Reigate for most of the weekend. The A217 Reigate Hill was closed from the M25 junction to Raglan Road for emergency repairs to be carried out.
