Teenager fatally injured in Crawley

An 18 year old man has died after he was found with serious stab injuries in Crawley on Monday afternoon.

Three people have been arrested after the attack which happened in Malthouse Road near Crawley railway station.

Police have arrested a 17 year old boy from Worthing and an 18 year old man from Horsham on suspicion of murder. A third teenager from Crawley has also been arrested for assisting an offender.

Despite attempts by paramedics and members of the public to save the young man, he sadly died at the scene. Police say they are treating it as an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community. They have asked the public not to speculate around the circumstances.
