Caterham ‘Cedar Tree’ Name Goes Mobile

The 250 year old Cedar Tree on Caterham on the Hill has been included in the sponsorship of a new Blood motorbike.

Caterham Rotary Club has funded the bike which is used by Emergency Rider volunteers, SERV.  SERV transports lifesaving blood and blood products to hospitals at night.  It also transports emergency medical equipment, drugs and donor organs. 

During the last week The Cedar Tree bike has been in operation 20 times including journeys between the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance base at Redhill Aerodrome and to East Surrey Hospital.
