Sussex Crime Fall

Statistics show that recorded crime in Sussex has fallen by 12 per cent since 2010.

Crawley MP Henry Smith said that tougher sentencing was having the right effect. He also mentioned how tackling the root causes of crime also had an effect on the figure

He also felt that the establishment of the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner led to the police being directly accountable to the public, without having an effect on operations.
