Equipment stolen from a container in Tandridge

Machinery worth several thousands of pounds has been stolen from a yard in Tandridge.

The equipment was taken overnight between 6th and 7th January from a container on Queens Park Road.

Officers believe the offenders may have visited the site at least three occasions before the theft took place.

Cars targeted in arson attacks in Redhill

An investigation is underway following a series of arson attacks on cars in Redhill.

Damage was caused to a Ford Mondeo, Renault Clio and Vauxhall Corsa during three incidents which occurred overnight between 6th and 7th January.

The offender gained access to the vehicles on The Frenches, Bletchingley Road and Albury Road and attempted to set them alight.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Surrey Police.

Investigation underway following a theft in Earlswood

A man is wanted in connection with a theft in Earlswood.

The offender entered Davy’s store on Philanthropic Road on Friday 2nd January just before 10.30pm.

He made demands to the shop assistant before leaving with a small quantity of alcohol, cigarettes and around £20 in cash.

CCTV footage of the suspect can be viewed on the Surrey Police website.

Renewed appeals following a burglary in Crawley

Renewed appeals are being made for information following a burglary in Crawley.

Offenders forced entry into a house in Lark Rise between 3pm and 5pm the afternoon of 29th November.

Gold jewellery and electrical items were taken.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity is being asked to contact Sussex Police: email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1175 of 29/11, call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Dorking targeted by fraudsters

Residents of Mole Valley are being urged to remain vigilant following attempted fraud.

People living in Dorking have been targeted by con artists trying to trick them into handing over money.

The first incident happened off Holmesdale Road at lunchtime on 30th December when a woman was confronted by a man requesting her bank details.

Another fraud attempt was made at Nat West bank in Dorking the following morning.  On that occasion bank staff prevented a request for money.  The victim had approached the front desk saying she had received a call asking her to withdraw £10,000.

Surrey Police are continuing their investigations.
