Crawley Town News

Crawley Town will be without the services of on loan defender Liam Donnelly when they face York City in League Two tomorrow. (Saturday 31st October)

He was due to remain with The Reds until the second of January but has been recalled by Fulham.

Meanwhile, Ipswich defender Josh Yorwerth has extended his loan spell with Crawley until 29 December.

Kick off tomorrow (Saturday 31st October) is at 12:30 at The Check A Trade Stadium.

Football News

Crawley Town came from 1-0 down to beat Luton Town 2 -1 and secure a third win in four League Two matches.

Meanwhile, in the Ryman League, Merstham lost 2 – nil at home to Wingate and Finchley, while Three Bridges recorded a 1 – nil home victory against Sittingbourne and South Park succumbed 3 – 1 at Worthing.

Elsewhere, Redhill enjoyed a superb 5 – nil victory at Cove.

Football Update

It was another poor week for Crawley Town as Plymouth Argyle beat The Reds 2 -1 to go to the top of League Two.

In the Ryman Premier, Merstham drew 2 all at home to East Thurrock United.

Meanwhile in the FA Cup Preliminary Round, South Park thumped Aveley 4 – 1 away and East Grinstead town also enjoyed an away win at Cray Wanderers by 3 goals to 2. Not such good news however for Three Bridges who lost 2 – 1 at Corinthian Casuals.

Football Update

In the Ryman League Premier Division, goals from Kavanagh and Abnett-Maynard ensured a 2 – 0 home victory for Merstham in their encounter with Needham Market.

Meanwhile in Division 1 South, East Grinstead lost their home match to Ramsgate 2 nil while South Park went down 2 – 1 to Walton Casuals.

Better news for Three Bridges who enjoyed a 2 – 0 victory at Walton and Hersham.

Sports Update

Merstham Cricket Club’s won a second successive league title and promotion in two years.

They led the Fuller’s Brewery County Division One throughout the season and secured the title with a 156-run win at Shepperton last Saturday week. Next season they will compete in the Fuller’s League Premier Division.

Football and Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram made a vital late save to deny Crawley a deserved home League 2 win. The match at at the Broadfield stadium on Saturday ended in a goalless draw.

In the Ryman Premier division, promoted Merstham went down 2 – 1 at home to Burgess Hill Town.

Meanwhile East Grinstead’s FA cup run came to a resounding end with a massive 7 – 0 defeat at Molesey, while Three Bridges lost by a single goal to Cray Wanderers.
