Crawley Town Football Club has reached an agreement with Horsham FC to use their new Hop Oast Stadium as their training base.
The Hop Oast Stadium opened earlier this month with two new 3G pitches. As part of the partnership, the two clubs will work closely on some initiatives; Crawley Town will provide Horsham with loan players as the Hornets prepare for a new season in the Bostik Premier Division following promotion in April.
There are more Summer signings for our local football teams:
Crawley Town has confirmed the signing of midfielder Beryly Lubala from Birmingham City. He’s on a two-year contract, with a year’s option.
Merstham FC’s manager Frank Wilson, has announced two signings; defender Sinn’Kaye Christie returns to the club. Sinn’Kaye left the Moatsiders two years ago to join Hastings United and spent some time on loan at Whitehawk last season.
Merstham have also signed midfielder Eddie Dines from Tooting and Mitcham FC.
Week 7 in the local cricket calendar brought double wins again for Horley and Outwood, while South Nutfield pulled clear at the top of the Surrey Downs League.
