Photo: Reigate and Banstead Borough Council
Inner Art and Nature Reclaimed have been selected from eight new businesses to win an investment grant provided by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, as part of its Entrepreneur Academy.
Last month, enthusiastic entrepreneurs from across the borough were given the opportunity to deliver a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch to a panel of local business leaders, at an event hosted by East Surrey College in Redhill.
Following impressive pitches from all the entrants, the £5000 prize fund was split between Inner Art and Nature Reclaimed, to help develop their businesses.

Booking System Made Permanent At Some West Sussex Recycling Centres
A booking system trialled at some Recycling Centres in West Sussex during the pandemic, will be made permanent.
Since April last year, Book to Recycle has been in operation at various Sussex recycling centres including Crawley and Horsham. This is to manage demand and reduce queuing vehicles; a recent public consultation showed support for these measures to continue. The option to extend the booking system to other recycling sites including East Grinstead has been approved, should this be needed to manage congestion in the future.
West Sussex residents are allowed up to five trips per calendar month. Slots are currently available up to 14 days in advance but the Council is trialling same day bookings.
