West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has sent a specialist team to help communities affected by flooding in the East of England.  

A Flood Tactical Advisor, specialist boat and a swift water rescue team have travelled to Ipswich in response to a request from the National Resilience Team.  

The Sussex team’s support was requested to help the region following the East coast tidal surge and associated flooding.
