Two Crawley men jailed for homophobic attack

Two men from Crawley have been jailed for 5 years and 4 months for a homophobic attack.

18 year old Gage Vye-Parminter and 19 year old Matthew Howes attacked a 22 and 23 year old on Brighton Seafront last year, causing serious facial and head injuries.

Sussex Police says the sentence “sends out a clear signal that we will take a robust approach” to this type of discrimination and they hope it’ll “encourage other victims of hate crime to report such behaviour.”
