Organiser Kay Hymas spent the whole of an Afternoon Stroll with David, talking about the history of the ‘Reigate & Banstead Writes’ story-writing competition for school pupils.
 
The 2020 competition, which opens for entries on 1st February; and the new ‘RH Fringe’ festival in June which is spinning off the original concept.

The current coronavirus crisis has regretably caused the cancellation of the planned launch event for the time being.

However, the competition IS still going ahead with deadline day being extended to 10th April. The organisers are encouraging stories to be sent to Reigateandbansteadwrites@gmail.com
