A man arrested at Gatwick Airport on Friday has been charged with drink-driving.

Andris Sibu from Dublin was arrested at the airport after a vehicle was abandoned at the north terminal.  Emergency services were called to the drop-off parking zone at the terminal on Friday afternoon and the area was cordoned off while an investigation of the vehicle took place.

Sibu has been released on bail to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 16th August.
