Eight critically endangered Baer’s Pochard ducklings have been successfully bred at Tilgate Nature Centre.

The Baer’s Pochard is one of the rarest ducks in the world.

It is hoped that captive breeding will help the long term future of the breed. Ben Matthews is Crawley Council’s Zoo Manager.
