Dash to the Med sets off from Reigate

As the Sun set on Wednesday evening (21st September) sixteen wild and wacky cars, including one driven by Bruce Dickinson from legendary rock band Iron Maiden, set off from the Black Horse Pub in Reigate heading for the South of France aiming to raise £75,000 for local charities.

The drivers were only allowed to spend a maximum of £500 on their cars and are aiming to reach Cannes in a little over three days despite not being able to drive on the Motorways. As the Dash to the Med began the total already pledged stood at £62,000 which is set to be split between four well deserving causes.
