Cars still missing after being booked into private parking firm at Gatwick

Around 30 cars are still missing after they were booked into a private parking company at Gatwick.

120 cars have been retrieved from various sites across Sussex and Surrey after they weren’t returned to passengers by Gatwick First Parking, but some still haven’t been found.

The firm isn’t approved by the airport and now appears to have shut down.

Trading Standards are searching for the remaining vehicles after their keys were found in the company’s office in Surrey.

Man sentenced for hit-and-run which flung young boy from car

A man’s been sentenced to three years in prison for a hit-and-run car crash in Crawley last year, which was so severe a nine-year-old boy was flung from the vehicle he was in.

Unemployed, 25-year-old Nathan Limbachia pleaded guilty to failing to report the collision and driving without a licence and insurance but denied dangerous driving, which was later proved during his trial.

While concluding proceedings the Judge said Limbachia should be ashamed of what he did.

The boy’s father later thanked the Police and Paramedics and said justice had been served.
