Week 4 of the League season saw Merstham CC win a thrilling game against Horley by 4 runs.
There was Sunday success for two of Horley’s younger players, but South Nutfield drew a Saturday blank.

Redhill FC won the Combined Counties Football League Premier Challenge Cup on Saturday.
The Lobsters met Ascot United in the final. After a goalless draw at full time, Redhill won 4-2 on penalties.
Another wet weekend saw success for South Nutfield and a kick start to Merstham’s league season, but there were setbacks for Horley and for Newdigate’s Sunday XI

The Football Association has completed the National League System restructure at steps 3-6.
It has announced the club allocations for next season, with little change for our local teams with the exception of Horley Town. Horley will join neighbours Redhill FC as they move laterally from the Southern Combination League back to the Combined Counties Premier Division.
Redhill are through to the final of their League’s Premier Challenge Cup.
The Lobsters beat Abbey Rangers 5-2 in their semi final at Kiln Brow.
They’ll meet Ascot United in the League cup final this Saturday which will be played at Cobham.24
