It’s Non League Day this coming Saturday and Redhill FC are doing their bit to encourage the local community to support grass-roots football.  Admission will be free at the Kiln Brow ground and all donations will be gratefully received.

Redhill’s Media Manager, Charlie Bright says: “We want to reach out to families of all ages in Redhill who might not have seen how exciting and entertaining non league football can be. You’re right up close to the action at Kiln Brow, whether it’s strikers doing celebration somersaults, or kids ‘high fiveing’ the players coming off the pitch.”

Non League Day was established in 2010 to help promote the importance of affordable, volunteer-led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local team while there are no league match distractions.

Kick off for the match this Saturday 7th October between Redhill and Bedfont Sports starts at 3.00pm. Goals are promised and children will receive free chips and a drink.

Reds must get their form back says Kewell

Crawley Town boss, Harry Kewell, says they need to reproduce the form and style they have shown glimpses of in previous matches to be successful against Carlisle United tomorrow.

It’s after he said he was ‘baffled’ by their 2-1 loss to Newport County on Tuesday.

The Reds are currently 19th in the League – having dropped from 17th after their last defeat.
