Regeneration Oxted Consultation Launch

Residents and businesses are invited to Tandridge District Council’s offices on Thursday for the launch of the Regeneration Oxted consultation.  

Representatives will be on hand from the Council, Surrey County Council and St William, the developer of the gasholder site.  Anyone unable to attend the launch event can view and comment at  tandridge.gov.uk/regenerationoxted.  There is also an exhibition in the reception area at the Council Offices.  This includes new designs for the Urban Redesign project in Station Road East and West, along with designs for the development of the Oxted gasholder site. There will be survey forms for comments on both of these projects.

The launch event will be from 1.30 to 8.30 pm on Thursday, and the consultation will run from Thursday until 23rd June.

Crawley Town FC: New Signing and Brighton Friendly Announced

Crawley Town Football Club has signed midfielder Dannie Bulman for this third spell with the club.  

He returns to the Reds on a one-year contract with the option of an extra year.  He left the club in 2014 and had three seasons with AFC Wimbledon.  The midfielder says he is delighted to be back on familiar territory.

The Reds have announced they will face newly promoted Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion in a pre season friendly.  

The game will take place at the Checkatrade Stadium on Saturday 22nd July.

Crawley Town Life Saving Club

Photo shows  Crawley Town Life Saving Club’s Youth team, taken at the moment they were announced as Youth National Champions.

Thirty six members of Crawley Town Life Saving Club have returned triumphant from the National Pool Life Saving Championships in Somerset.

They took both the Youth and Open National team titles along with at least 5 new British records and 119 medals, 68 of which were gold.
