Crawley Town begin their League Two campaign tomorrow at home against Port Vale, in what will be new head coach Harry Kewall’s first league game in charge of the Reds.

Speaking on BBC 5live he says he’s excited and enthusiastic about the upcoming season and insists the management feels the right fit for him.

Looking ahead to what the team can achieve he says “I always dream big and that’s the only way you can live.”

Kick-off is at 3pm.

In their final pre-season game, Crawley Town FC lost at home to Portsmouth.

New signing Thomas Verheydt opened the scoring for the Reds after just three minutes.  That lead was cancelled out by a brace from Pompey’s striker Brett Pitman.  The game ended Crawley Town 1 – 2 Portsmouth.

The Reds face Port Vale in their opening game of the new League Two season at the Checkatrade Stadium on Saturday.

Assistant Coach Warren Feeney says they’re getting down to polishing the players off now in preparation for their first League clash with Port Vale.

Their last 3 friendlies have resulted in a win, loss and draw.
